As part of a yearlong celebration of Chicago’s art and design heritage, some very loose descriptions were placed near the City’s most famous sculptures and paintings. They challenged Chicagoans’ knowledge of the art they live with – and ultimately – encouraged them to seek out their own interpretation of these iconic works. You know, by going to see them.
